This is an awesome guide to a great camera

This compact field guide is, in my opinion, a must-have for anyone with the new Nikon D5300 DSLR. David's writing style is concise, informative, and to-the-point. With this book a D5300 owner will have all the information needed to get started with the camera and to utilize all of the advanced features that are available. The compact size of the book is just what I was looking for. It is large enough so that the text is very readable but small enough to be easily portable. It will stay in my camera bag for reference as I am out shooting. I am very happy to have this Field Guide.

Nice Companion Book

I carry this with me when I bop around town - it is an easy reference guide and wonderful companion to the main "Guide" book on this camera. I recommend this author to anyone looking for excellent, easy to read and follow information on a particular camera with shooting tips to boot. The education gained is well worth the price of the book.
